Getting here from Estepona
Three ways to do it, depending on whether you are driving and how the evening is going.
By car · 25 min
Join the A-7 eastbound from Estepona and stay on the coast road through San Pedro and past Puerto Banús. Take the Avenida Ricardo Soriano exit into Marbella centre and turn down towards the sea.
By taxi · €35–45
A straightforward run along the coast. Ask for "Avenida Antonio Belón, near Parque de la Alameda". Twenty-five minutes outside rush hour, longer on August evenings around the Banús junction.
By bus · L-600
The L-600 runs the coast from Estepona through San Pedro and Puerto Banús into Marbella. Get off on Ricardo Soriano and walk five minutes. Cheap, but check the last return.
Parking. Coming in from the west you pass the Avenida del Mar car park before Parque de la Alameda. Either works, both underground and open late, both a short walk. Do not count on street parking in the centre after 8pm from June to September.
Why guests come from Estepona
Estepona has grown a great deal in recent years but it still has the feel of a town rather than a resort. People know their neighbours, and the same faces turn up in the same bars.
That is the reason most of our Estepona guests give for making the trip east rather than looking for something closer. Twenty-five minutes buys a different town, a quiet residential street and an unmarked door. Nobody in Estepona is going to hear about it.
It also means the trip is usually planned as an evening rather than squeezed in. Ninety-minute sessions are more common from Estepona than from areas closer in, and bookings tend to come a day or two ahead rather than on the night.
